In the afternoon, the maximum temperatures will be high, varying from 20 to 25°C in the northwest quarter of the country, and from 25 to 30°C in the rest of the territory; up to 31 to 35°C occasionally in Alsace and also in the lower Rhône valley. A heat peak is expected in Corse-du-Sud, with values ​​reaching 35 to 38 ° C.
