A famous American mukbang YouTuber is making headlines by revealing surprising updates about his current status seven months after taking a hiatus due to health reasons.

According to the New York Post on the 8th (local time), YouTuber ‘Nicocado Avocado’ (Nicholas Perry), who has over 4.18 million subscribers, released a comeback video on the 7th. It’s been 7 months since he uploaded his last video.

He appeared in his comeback video looking unrecognizable, with Nicocado Avocado revealing that he had “lost 250 pounds (about 113 kg).”

He had complained of difficulty breathing after gaining weight to 171 kg while doing ‘mukbang’ where he ate a huge amount of food. He said, “I’m always two steps ahead,” and “This was the greatest social experiment of my life.” Then he revealed a shocking fact.

He said that he hasn’t filmed a new mukbang video in two years.

He said, “I uploaded pre-recorded videos up until 7 months ago, and I have been dieting healthily for the past 2 years while not filming new videos.” This means that he had been working on losing weight long before February of this year, when he announced his hiatus.

“I woke up from a very long dream today having lost 250 pounds,” said Nicocado Avocado. “Until yesterday, people were calling me fat, unhealthy, and boring. Humans are the most messed up creatures on the planet.”

Meanwhile, it is known that Nicocado Avocado was a vegetarian who dreamed of becoming a musician before he started mukbang. He started his YouTube activities in 2016 by releasing mukbang videos mainly featuring fast food, and became popular for his ‘extreme mukbang’ where he eats large quantities of high-calorie, high-fat, and spicy food.

He more than doubled his weight due to binge eating, and in 2021, he was even seen eating while wearing an oxygen mask.

Netizens who saw his video responded, “Honestly, this is much better than dying from complications due to obesity. This is what we wanted,” “Wow, this doesn’t seem real. He played us like a violin,” “He gained weight, became a billionaire, lost weight, and made the most amazing comeback of all time.”
