The Ministry of Technical Education, Vocational Training and Employment (METFP-E) launched this Thursday, September 26, 2024, in the administrative region of Boké, the first tests of the entrance exam to secondary schools. technical and vocational education.
In this competition, 176 candidates are participating, with the certificate of senior technicians (BTS) heavy machinery, in electromechanics of the automated system, general mechanics maintenance (type B options).
According to the regional inspector of technical education, vocational training and employment in Boké, Thierno Younoussa Bah, “this year, the competition is being held on tablets, which is an innovation brought by Madam, the Minister of technical education, thanks to the enlightened vision of the President of the Republic, General Mamadi Doumbouya. »
In Boké where the evaluation takes place in the desired conditions, according to Mr. Bah, everything started with the distribution of tablets to candidates distributed between four (04) rooms supervised by eight (08) supervisors. And to specify that the competition will last three days for all options combined.
It should be noted that the competition takes place under the watchful eye of security agents and supervisors mobilized for the occasion.
In the opinion of Théa Niankoye Fidel of the national digital directorate and coordinator of the competition in the administrative region of Boké, this competition occupies a special place in the lives of young unemployed graduates.
He invited the various candidates to keep their cool and above all, count on their own efforts to meet this other challenge of active and professional life.
Note that in technical education, BTS is the highest diploma awarded by CFPs.
