The police want to check a car with several young passengers on Saturday night. The driver rushes away without lights and at full throttle. When he was arrested later, it became clear that he had several reasons for fleeing.
A suspected drunk 18-year-old driver is said to have fled from the police in the Upper Bavarian district of Berchtesgadener Land at speeds of up to 170 kilometers per hour. As the officials announced on Saturday, the young man was traveling in the car that night with four minors who were probably also drunk when federal police officers wanted to check him at the Oberndorf-Laufen border crossing.
