Russia, which has invaded Ukraine, has been on the offensive for the past 11 days. Major cities in Ukraine were captured by Russian forces. Moreover, the seizure of some cities is intensifying. In this situation, the central and state governments are actively involved in rescuing students from Ukraine.
In that regard, more than 15,000 students from Ukraine have returned to India so far. In this situation, 181 Tamil Nadu students stranded in Ukraine have arrived at the Chennai airport. The students were greeted with tears by their parents while Minister Ginger Masdan welcomed them.
