I’m 1.896 i new cases of coronavirus in Italy (yesterday they were +1.273, here the bulletin). So it goes up at least 4.235.592 the number of people who have contracted the SARS-CoV-2 virus (including recovered and died) since the outbreak began. THE deaths today I’m 102 (yesterday they were +65), for a total of 126,690 victims from February 2020. People recovered or discharged they are altogether 3.927.176 e 8.519 those that came out of the Covid nightmare today (+5,024 yesterday). The positive current – the subjects who have the virus – turn out to be in everything 181.726, equal to -6.727* compared to yesterday (-3,819 the day before), down from 6 April with the sole exception of 2 May.
The swabs and the scenario
I total swabs (molecular and antigenic) were 220.917, or 136,350 more than yesterday when it was 84,567. While the rate of positivity 0,9% (the approximation of 0.858%): it means that out of 100 swabs performed, less than 1 positive result; yesterday it was 1.5%. More infections in 24 hours than yesterday, however below 2 thousand for the second consecutive day. IS the case-to-test ratio falls below 1% for the first time. As usual, the oscillating curve rises slightly due to a greater number of buffers. The trend remains downward and can be seen from the comparison with last Tuesday (June 1) – the same day of the week -, when +2,483 cases were recorded with a positive rate of 1.1%: today, in fact, there are fewer new infections than June 1st with a lower percentage.

The Sicily has the highest number of new infections: here are +337 cases with a rate of 1.5%. Above 200, there are only two regions: Lombardy (+291 cases with a rate of 0.8%, thanks to over 34,000 swabs, which is the highest number of tests of the day) and Campania (+251 cases with 1.7% rate).
The victims
The victims are increasing: they are more than 100, like on May 28 when the deaths in the bulletin were 126 and then in the following days always below the threshold of 100, until today. the most dramatic figure, which could contain several previous deaths. I’m five regions with zero bereavement – Basilicata, Molise, Valle d’Aosta and the Provinces of Trento and Bolzano – while the highest number of deaths in Puglia (+17), Campania (+16, of which 7 died in the last 48 hours and 9 previously), Sicily (+12), Lombardy (+11) and Tuscany (+11). The health system
Hospitalization is always decreasing, in critical and non-critical areas. The beds occupied in ordinary Covid wards I’m -225 (yesterday -53), for a total of 4,685 hospitalized. I beds occupied in intensive care (ICU) I’m -71 (yesterday -15), bringing the total of more seriously ill patients a 688, with 17 new entries in resuscitation (yesterday +24).
I vaccinated
