On this, NAB prosecutor Sardar Muzaffar Abbasi said in the court that the lawyers are not cross-examining the investigating officer for the eighth time today, the lawyers are using delaying tactics, the NAB prosecutor added that the Islamabad High Court ordered the trial to continue It has been given, three times if the witness is not cross-examined, then the right of defense ends, we have not yet requested to end the right of defense.
NAB Prosecutor Sardar Muzaffar Abbasi requested the court to oblige the lawyers to complete their cross-examination of the investigating officer.
Later, the court adjourned the hearing till August 23 due to the absence of lawyers of Imran Khan and his wife.
As the hearing was adjourned, NAB investigation officer Mian Umar Nadeem could not be cross-examined even today.
It should be noted that on August 17, the accountability court of Rawalpindi could not complete the sixth cross-examination against the former Prime Minister Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi in the 190 million pounds case on the statement of Reference Investigation Officer Deputy Director Mian Umar Nadeem. .
