Coimbatore – Coimbatore Airport was used by 2 lakh 24 thousand 742 passengers last December. 116 international flights and 1,285 domestic flights arrived at Coimbatore International Airport last December. Also last month 18 thousand 199 international passengers and 2 lakh 6,543 domestic passengers visited. Last month, Coimbatore Airport handled 769 tonnes of cargo, including 61 tonnes of international cargo. During the period from last April to December, Coimbatore Airport handled 12 thousand 961 flights, 19 lakh 8 thousand 951 passengers and 7 thousand 222 tons of cargo.
