Tickets reserved for people in wheelchairs
“I really want to encourage all our compatriots to buy tickets”launched the President of the Republic Emmanuel Macron on Sunday after a small crowd at Place de la République, during a day dedicated to parasports in Paris.
Among these more than two million tickets, 60,000 will be easy-access seats, and 12,000 reserved for people in wheelchairs. This answers “to all requests”, justified the organization of Paris 2024 to explain this low figure. Potential accompanying persons will also need to have a ticket.
The Olympic Games ticket office, initially opened by two draws, had generated frustration with prices considered prohibitive by some.
Tickets distributed to schools
