jpnn.comJAYAPURA – Acting Governor of Central Papua, Ribka Jaluk, is quite concerned about the shooting incident that resulted in fatalities in Intan Jaya.

“I am personally very concerned about the Intan Jaya incident, especially as a child became a victim,” said the Acting Governor in Jayapura, Papua, Tuesday (9/4) afternoon.

The governor said he had ordered one of the children who was a shooting victim to be evacuated to receive intensive treatment.

“I have asked the victim, 6-year-old Nopina Duwitau, to be evacuated to Timika,” he said.

Regarding the child who died, the Governor said, he had communicated with the family.

“I have communicated with the family and they accepted the incident. The government has also provided compensation to the family,” he explained.

Regarding this incident, said the Governor, the government of Central Papua Province was not silent.

“Intan Jaya incident, we will ask Komnas HAM to look into the incident,” he explained.

Acting Governor of Central Papua Rebekah Haluk opened his voice regarding the gunfire between the KKB and the Security Forces which resulted in two children becoming victims.
