At least six people were injured in a shooting last night in downtown Tel Aviv, Israel, in an area full of bars and restaurants. The motive for the shooting was not immediately known, but the incident took place amid heightened tensions following a series of deadly attacks by Palestinians.
The Israeli Emergency Management Agency said the shootings took place in several locations around the city of Tel Aviv. Eight people injured in the incident were taken to a nearby hospital. Three of them were also reported to be in critical or dangerous condition.
