New Delhi: In the last five years, two lakh youths have been given employment in the Central Armed Police Forces.

Six units of the Central Armed Police Force are engaged in border and internal security of the country. More than 10 lakh posts have been allotted to these forces.

More than two lakh vacant posts in these forces have been filled in the last five years, according to Union Home Ministry statistics.

Only 17 thousand 842 people have been recruited in the Border Security Force (PSF). The maximum number of 1 lakh 13 thousand 208 people have been recruited in the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF). 29 thousand 243 people have been included in Sashastra Seema Pal Force, known as SSP.

12 thousand 482 youths have been recruited in the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), 5,965 in the Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBP), and 5,938 in the Assam Rifles. As of July this year, There are 84,000 vacancies in the forces. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has ordered to fill up 10 lakh vacancies in government jobs across the country.

Accordingly, recently, in the first phase, 75 thousand people have been given job appointment orders. As a result, the vacant posts in these six force divisions are to be filled on a priority basis, senior Home Ministry officials said.
