The Attorney General’s Office (FGR) reported on the arrest warrant against 20 alleged gang members and common criminals dedicated to terrorism and fraud carried out in the departments of La Paz, San Salvador and La Libertad.

“Actions continue to bring gang members and common criminals to justice. During the early hours of the morning, the FGR issued 20 arrest warrants against terrorists and fraudsters. The operation was carried out in La Paz, San Salvador and La Libertad,” said the Prosecutor’s Office.

Among those captured is Fátima del Carmen Guzmán Vásquez, who sold a high-end cell phone through social networks and when she received the $350 she demanded in advance, she cut off communication with the victim.

In addition, there is José Adán Ayala Flores and a minor gang member, accused of a murder they committed outside a restaurant on San Marcelino beach, La Paz.

“Another case that has been resolved with these actions is the disappearance of a woman, which occurred in Zacatecoluca, La Paz. For this crime, Kenia Yajaira Sánchez Morales was arrested, who, along with other gang members, deprived the victim of her liberty while she was having a conversation in a beer hall,” said the FGR.
