OpenAI introduces a $20/month subscription plan for ChatGPT.
AI experimental company OpenAI today launched a new subscription program for ChatGPT, aiming to monetize the now-talked-about artificial intelligence AI, ChatGPT, which has become a viral phenomenon around the world. This artificial intelligence AI can write essays, poems, emails, song lyrics and more just like a human.
Called ChatGPT Plus, which starts at $20 per month, the service offers several advantages over base-level ChatGPT, and in times of crisis, services for ChatGPT are available faster and with new features and improvements, according to OpenAI.
While the free ChatGPT service is also not being removed, OpenAI has said that ChatGPT Plus is currently only available to customers in the US and will expand to additional countries in the coming months. Despite the controversies and many hurdles, ChatGPT has proven to be a success for OpenAI, and it quickly caught the attention of many.
With several billion dollars from Microsoft invested in ChatGPT, OpenAI is under pressure to turn a profit. The subscription system is said to be brought in as OpenAI looks to earn $200 million by 2023. OpenAI also plans to launch a mobile ChatGPT app in the near future.
