Paris-Charles de Gaulle, Lyon, Toulouse and Nice airports affected

Easyjet initially announced that only flights due to take off between 1pm and 3pm Thursday UK time would be cancelled. The company then said that the disruptions could last despite the resolution of the technical problem, due to a domino effect. In total, some 200 flights – out of nearly 1,500 operated – were canceled on Thursday.

These cancellations concerned several European airports, including in France. Paris-Charles de Gaulle, Lyon, Toulouse and Nice airports were affected, for flights departing from or arriving in the United Kingdom, Morocco, Portugal, Italy and Spain. .

«Our customers were informed and given the option of rebooking or getting a refund”, assures the low-cost company, which has already been forced to cancel several hundred flights in recent weeks due to staff shortages.
