Scientists are currently monitoring whether vaccinated animals develop immunity to the disease. The first results will be known in October.

Let us recall that veterinarians have been recording epizootic lymphangitis in the Bukhar-Zhyrau district for about two years, during which time the villagers have lost more than 300 heads. In the Umutker rural district, quarantine was introduced in February and is still in effect. There are about 4 thousand horses there. Over the past six months, 125 heads have been seized and destroyed in the rural district.

Specialists conduct clinical examinations every five days, more than 45 thousand square meters have been disinfected. The state pays compensation to the owners. For each horse, 600 thousand tenge. Mass vaccination will begin only in case of successful testing of the drug, – the inspection noted.
