Doha: The official launch of Qatar’s volunteer program for the FIFA World Cup. 20,000 volunteers are active in the World Cup.

The largest volunteer program in Qatar’s history was officially launched on Monday night at the Amphitheater in Qatar by FIFA President Gianni Infantino and local organizers, the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy Secretary General Hassan Al Tawadi.

The volunteer program was launched in the presence of 3,500 volunteers from 82 expatriate countries in Qatar. Sheikh Hind bint Hamad Al Thani, Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs Salah bin Ghanim Al Ali and FIFA Secretary General Fatma Zamoura were also present as special guests.

The volunteer program aims to bring the world’s people together for the first ever FIFA World Cup in the Middle East and the Arab world. The service of 20,000 volunteers is guaranteed at the FIFA World Cup.

Volunteers can be found not only in Qatar but globally. Volunteers are located in 45 areas of operation, including stadiums, training sites, airports, fan zones, hotels, and public transportation.

Those interested in volunteering for the Qatar World Cup can apply now. Must be at least 18 years old. Those who are proficient in English language can apply. Proficiency in other languages, including Arabic, is preferred.

No experience required.

Must be able to serve at least 10 full days during the tournament.
