New Delhi: The Supreme Court today dismissed a case filed against former Gujarat Chief Minister and current Prime Minister Narendra Modi in connection with the 2002 violence case.

In 2002, a Sabarmati Express train carrying Godse people was set on fire in Godhra, Gujarat. Of these, 59 landlords were killed. Religious clashes erupted across Gujarat following the massacre.
Thousands of Islamists were killed across Gujarat. At least 68 people were killed in clashes at the Gulbarga Society. The former Congress MP. Geoffrey was also assassinated.
