MacRumors reveals Apple is preparing to add a name Many 2013–2014 iMac models are Obsolete products. Within the month of Nov.
2013–2014 iMac to be added as an Obsolete product (discontinued)
For iMac models that may be added as an Obsolete product or discontinued:
- iMac 21.5″, 27″ Late 2013 model
- iMac 21.5″ Mid 2014 Model
- iMac 27″ 5K Late 2014 model
The report states that the iMac will be added as an Obsolete product on November 30, 2022.
Products that have been flagged as Obsolete, are those that Apple will no longer provide for repairs and other services. Details on Obsolete products can be found here.
