To situate the presidential candidates, Le Parisien offers you a daily poll from Monday to Saturday – called “rolling poll” – carried out by Ipsos-Sopra Steria, with our partner Franceinfo. Here’s what to remember this Saturday.

Renewed interest. Is the campaign finally taking off, a few days before the election? According to our latest poll, 72% of respondents say they are sure to vote this Sunday, for the first round of the presidential election. This number has never been so high. Last Wednesday, only 69% of respondents said they would participate.

In 2017, 77.7% of voters voted in the first round and 74.5% in the second round.

Marine Le Pen is progressing. Marine Le Pen is doing well in our latest poll. It now reaches 22% of voting intentions, a first since March 12. It is also she who has the most people sure of their choice. For 85% of respondents who indicated that they wanted to vote for the RN candidate in the first round, this decision is “final”.

Jean-Luc Mélenchon is also in a positive dynamic. Its curve has been rising since the end of last week and stands at 17% of voting intentions. The leading trio, led by Emmanuel Macron, thus stands out a little more from the rest of the peloton.

Eric Zemmour picks up. It’s a tough week in the polls for the far-right polemicist. In one day, he lost 1.5% of voting intentions and stagnated at 8.5%, just ahead of Valérie Pécresse, who is at 8%. This home stretch does not seem to benefit Éric Zemmour, who has been falling daily in our survey since last Wednesday, when he was still at 11.5%. Information that he probably does not take into account, he who regularly asserts that the polls are wrong and that the pollsters are “lost”.

Intentions for the second round are stagnating. In the event of a second round between Emmanuel Macron and Marine Le Pen, 54% of respondents intending to speak will vote for the outgoing president and 46% for the candidate of the National Rally. These figures have not changed since the beginning of the week.

The gap widens, however, in our survey, in the event of a second round between Emmanuel Macron and Jean-Luc Mélenchon. The first is credited with 60% of the voting intentions, the second with 40%.
