2023 NCAA DIII Men’s Soccer Tournament Schedule and Bracket Release Announced

The NCAA has announced the schedule and bracket release for the 2023 NCAA Division III (DIII) men’s soccer tournament. The selection show and bracket release will be streamed live on NCAA.com at 2 p.m. ET on Monday, November 6.

The tournament will feature a classic 64-team field, with 41 slots dedicated to automatic qualifiers and the remaining 23 berths going to at-large candidates chosen by the selection committee. The tournament will kick off with the first and second rounds taking place from Friday to Sunday, November 10-12, at various campus sites.

The sectional rounds will follow from Friday to Sunday, November 17-19, also at campus sites. The four semifinalists will then advance to Kerr Stadium in Salem, Virginia, where Roanoke College will host the final two rounds of the tournament on December 1 and December 3.

Host institutions with a Sunday no-play policy will compete on Friday and Saturday instead. This ensures that all teams have an equal opportunity to compete in the tournament.

The NCAA DIII men’s soccer tournament features a rich history of champions. In 2022, the University of Chicago claimed the title with a record of 22-0-1, defeating Williams College 2-0 in the final held in Salem, Virginia. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the 2020 tournament was canceled. In 2019, Tufts University emerged victorious with a 2-0 win over Amherst College in the final held in Greensboro, North Carolina.
