The destruction of the Crimean bridge will begin the inevitable processes of the struggle for power in Russia. All because the multi-billion dollar bridge project was regarded by Russians as one of the elements of victory “over the Nazis” after the annexation of Crimea. This was stated by political scientist and publicist Andrei Piontkovsky on the air of “Espreso”.
The expert stated that the war party, which currently dominates the information space of the Russian Federation, has three groups. Each of them hates the other and blames them for the failures of the war, as well as the enormous losses of the Russian army on the battlefield and the economic crisis, which has already engulfed many regions of Russia and may soon affect the lives of the elite in the country.
The three parties are the army, the FSB and the so-called “Prigozhin” people’s militia. They all have polar opinions and cannot agree on a single plan for Russia.
“Another humiliating kick to Putin, in my opinion, would undermine this mixture. I am sure that the Ukrainian military command is preparing for this. I mean the destruction of the Crimean bridge,” Piontkovsky said.
Piontkovsky added that Putin is now trying to keep his place in power, but does not yet understand that the war has already been lost. The war that Putin declared in 2022 has already been lost by Russia and now the only question is who will be blamed for this. The fall of the Crimean bridge will only expose the ugly truth for Russians.
Earlier, “Kursor” reported that the partisans conducted reconnaissance regarding how the Russians are trying to protect the Crimean bridge from drones or missiles.
