A dramatic incident occurred on a flight from London to Kos, Greece, when a drunk passenger tried to open the cockpit door and attacked the crew.

EasyJet flight EZY8235 was forced to make an emergency landing in Munich. According to passengers, the trouble began when the plane encountered turbulence, causing the man to become agitated. He then began swearing at the pilot and tried to reach the cockpit.

During the struggle, the passenger broke the plane’s intercom and fought with the flight attendants. One passenger noted: “The crew was great and very brave, but all this drama was unnecessary.” After the crew subdued the man, the pilot decided to land in Munich, where the rowdy passenger was handcuffed and taken for questioning.

Other passengers were taken to hotels and were angry about the disruption. According to the UK Civil Aviation Authority, such actions can result in a fine of up to £5,000 and a prison sentence of up to two years.

In a video that has surfaced on TikTok, a brave passenger helps officers restrain the passenger until the plane lands and police arrive. In the video, which has been viewed more than half a million times, passengers clapped as authorities and brave officers pushed the troublemaker away.

One of the upset passengers can be seen shouting at the drunk passenger: “Get lost, loser.”

The plane later burst into thunderous applause for one of the passengers who, according to video, bravely helped staff restrain the drunk man until the plane landed.
