Joe Biden has been on vacation for 40% of his presidency. Just last Saturday, August 31, the president relaxed on the beach in Rehoboth Beach, his 16th consecutive vacation.

The New York Post reports this, citing data from the Republican National Committee.

According to media reports, Biden has taken 532 days off out of 1,326 possible working days, which is about 40% of his presidential term. In comparison, Donald Trump, the previous president, spent only 26% of his time on vacation – 381 days out of 1,461 days in office.

The media also added that the average American with 11 vacation days a year would have to work 48 years to accumulate as many days off as Biden has already taken, prompting a wave of criticism.

The former White House adviser in the Trump administration said he believes the country has serious economic problems, such as rising inflation and borders overflowing with illegal immigrants, but Biden is choosing to continue his vacation and ignore them.

Comparing Biden to previous presidents, the media pointed out that Barack Obama and Ronald Reagan took only 11% of their terms off, while Jimmy Carter, the 39th US president, took almost no vacation, just 79 days over four years, which is only 5% of his term.

Earlier, Cursor reported that Biden is obsessed with the war in Gaza after leaving the presidential race.
