This morning, two soldiers were killed on the Quneitra-Damascus road when a vehicle was struck.

This was reported by the Telegram channel “Alexey Zheleznov”.

According to local sources, among those killed was a Syrian army officer serving in the 14th Division, as well as an Iranian officer associated with the elite Quds Force of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.

The latter was in Syria as a military adviser.

Let us recall that on the night of September 8-9, the IDF carried out numerous strikes on the outskirts of the city of Masyaf and hit a chemical weapons production center.

Two Israeli IDF intelligence officials said the target of the attack was a major military center involved in chemical weapons development. The facility was located near Masyaf, and local residents saw bright flashes and felt the aftermath of the airstrikes.

According to intelligence, Iranian military specialists were present on the territory of the center, who were engaged in the production of weapons.

The Syrian military said the attack began late Sunday when Israeli jets launched strikes from northwest Lebanon, hitting several military installations in central Syria. Syrian air defenses attempted to repel the attack, shooting down some of the missiles.

Local medical services said 43 people were injured, some in critical condition.

Earlier, Cursor reported that Israel has significantly increased airstrikes in Syria.

The expert noted that Israel is gradually losing patience due to Iran’s influence in Syria.
