jpnn.com – In the middle of the 2024 AFF Cup, the Malaysian National Team announced a new coach candidate.
The Football Federation of Malaysia (FAM) has officially appointed Peter Cklamovski to lead the national team.
The Australian coach will start his duties after the 2024 AFF Cup is over.
Malaysia itself is currently still being led by Pau Marti, who from the start was assigned as caretaker or temporary coach.
Cklamovski was immediately faced with a big mission, namely to bring Malaysia to the 2027 Asian Cup finals.
“The former manager of FC Tokyo, namely Peter Cklamovski from Australia, was appointed to carry out duties as coach and ensure that the Harimau Malaya Squad can compete more strongly on the international stage,” read a statement from FAM.
Cklamovski is a tactician with a wealth of experience. He has had a career in the world of coaching for 15 years.
The 46 year old coach was once the assistant to Ange Postecoglou who is currently the coach of Tottenham Hotspur.
