San Luis Potosí, SLP.- The 2024 preparation course for the National Examination of Medical Residencies (ENARM) of the Faculty of Medicine, Autonomous University of San Luis Potosí (UASLP), has been updated for the benefit of doctors who seek to continue their training with specialty.
It should be noted that this intensive course is one of the best and most prestigious at the national level, due to the high number of applicants who achieve the objective of qualifying in the ENARM. People from all over Mexico compete in this exam to get a place and receive specific instruction in a medical specialty.
In this regard, Dr. highlighted Maribel Martínez Díaz, secretary general of the Faculty of Medicine, the commitment of the academic entity to offer quality preparation to its students and graduates from other institutions.
He reported that this course will be held from August 5 to September 7, 2024, in person from Monday to Saturday from 7:00 am to 2:00 pm; and in the afternoon, activities will be carried out on a digital platform, including simulators and access to clinical practice guidelines.
In addition to preparing students, in-depth knowledge is provided based on clinical practice guidelines, which are the official standard in decision-making in this field, which is invaluable for their professional training. “We’re trying to answer a very specific and clear exam that serves as training,” he said. To do this, the participation of the renowned teachers will be grouped in specialties such as: psychiatry, gynecology, paediatrics, surgery and internal medicine, to name a few.
Dr. Martínez Díaz emphasized the importance of the ENARM course, not only for UASLP graduates, but for those from other national and international universities. He said that there were doctors from different states in the Republic on other occasions, such as Baja California, Tamaulipas, Zacatecas, Aguascalientes, Jalisco and Chihuahua, as well as foreigners.
