The Mahindra XUV300 is gearing up for a facelift in 2024, with the updated version of the less-than-4-metre-long SUV set to go on sale in the first quarter of the year. As it hits the market, the XUV300 will face some tough competition from updated models of other popular SUVs including the Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet, Venue, Brezza, Magnite, and Giger.

While it’s unclear if the new XUV300 will feature the Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) that some of its rivals offer, it will be powered by a 1.2-litre, three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine with options for 110hp and 131hp, as well as a 1.5-litre diesel engine with 117hp. The SUV will be available with manual and automated manual transmission (AMT) gearboxes, with the more powerful 1.2-litre TGDI engine getting a 6-speed automatic torque converter gearbox sourced from Asean.

In terms of features, the top variant of the XUV300 will come equipped with a panoramic sunroof, while the interior is expected to receive various enhancements and connectivity features.

The 2024 Mahindra XUV300 SUV is expected to hit the market by the end of January or February 2024. In addition to the facelifted model, there are also rumors of a new electric model named XUV300.e being released alongside it. Car enthusiasts and potential buyers can look forward to seeing how the updated XUV300 stacks up against its competitors in the highly competitive SUV segment.
