Seoul, December 31, 2025 – The KBS Drama Awards wrapped up the year with a glittering party of the best in Korean television, and “For Eagle Brothers” soared to the top, claiming the night’s highest honor.
“For eagle Brothers” Takes Home Grand Prize at 2025 KBS Drama Awards
The hit drama dominated the awards show, with leads Ahn Jae Wook and Uhm Ji Won jointly receiving the coveted Daesang award.
- Ahn Jae Wook and Uhm Ji Won shared the Daesang (Grand Prize) for their roles in “for Eagle Brothers.”
- The drama also secured wins for Excellence, Best Supporting Actor, Best New Actor, and Best Writer awards.
- Jang Sung Kyu, Nam Ji Hyun, and Moon Sang Min hosted the ceremony.
Ahn Jae Wook and Uhm Ji Won made history at the December 31st ceremony held in Seoul, becoming the first recipients of the Daesang for their performances in “For Eagle Brothers.” this marks the first Daesang win for both actors in their careers, a testament to the drama’s widespread acclaim and their compelling portrayals.
A Night of Recognition for “For Eagle brothers”
“for Eagle Brothers” didn’t stop at the Daesang. Yoon Bak and Yoo In Young both earned Excellence Awards for their supporting roles, while Kim Dong Wan and Park Joon Geum were recognized as Best Supporting Actors. Rising stars Lee Seok Gi and Shin Seul Ki took home the best New Actor awards, and Goo Hyun Sook was honored as Best Writer.
In the short-form drama category, Yang Dae Hyuk (“Love Track – Love’s Grace Period”) and Kim Ah Young (“Love Track – Love Hotel”) received honors. Park jung Yeon (“Our Golden Days”) joined Lee Seok Gi and Shin Seul Ki as recipients of the Best New Actor award. Kim Gun Woo (“Good Luck!”) and Kim Si Ah (“Walking on Thin Ice”) were recognized as Best Young Actors.
