An event of this magnitude, he added, “highlights everything that is beautiful and unique in a country, through a sporting event that constitutes an act of fair play and communion of humanity.”
The Colombian academic noted that “an event like the World Cup helps to transcend political differences, to promote understanding, dialogue and the values of coexistence.”
On the economic level, “it is always an ideal opportunity to promote economic and tourist assets, but above all an additional motivation for the development of infrastructures and a greater openness to the world.”
Mr. Olano did not fail to underline the solidity of the tripartite candidacy and the great organizational and sporting asset of Morocco, semi-finalist in Qatar in 2022, to guarantee the success of this file.
