Mumbai: IPL. Lucknow openers KL Rahul and De Gock set a new record of 210 in 20 overs in the league match against Kolkata yesterday. The previous record was 185 by Johnny Burstow-David Warner (Sunrisers Hyderabad) against Bangalore in 2019.

Currently, the Rahul-De Gock duo has broken that record. The Rahul-De Gock duo have topped the list of highest-scoring pairs for the opening wicket partnership in the IPL so far. De Gock is also the 3rd highest run scorer in IPL history with 140 not out.

Earlier in 2012, Mumbai captain Rohit Sharma and Herschelle Gibbs were unbeaten on 167 for the second wicket. Chris Gayle tops the list with 175 runs, followed by Brendon McCullum with 158 runs.
