Yesterday, the anti-narcotics unit police raided the house of a close relative of Patta Manju, who is selling drugs in Sri Lanka from abroad.
After seizing and searching the woman’s mobile phone, they found that she had money earned from drug trafficking in the house.
As a result, the police searched the entire house and found a bunker in the house.
Also from that bunker Rs. Police found and seized more than 22 lakh currency notes.
A 29-year-old woman was arrested
A 29-year-old woman from Kehelpetara area concerned has been arrested by the police and has been remanded in custody.
