According to the Department of Public Welfare, 229 hospitals and homes in Tamil Nadu are under medical surveillance due to corona infection.
A total of 28 new cases were confirmed in the state on Monday. 10 of them have been affected in Chennai.
With 27 more people returning home from the corona infection, the number of people who have recovered so far has risen to 34 lakh 14,858.
