Berlin center – The fight for the historical heritage of the city of Berlin preserved in the street name “Mohrenstraße” is entering the next round. On February 14, 2022, the Mitte district office sent a total of 237 objection notices to those citizens who had lodged an objection to the naming of Mohrenstraße. All received identical eight-page letters, signed personally with blue fountain pen by district mayor Stephan von Dassel from the Bündnis 90/Die Grünen party.
