I’m 23.839 i new cases of coronavirus in Italy (yesterday they were +23.987, here the bulletin). Salt so at least 3.512.453 the number of people who have contracted the SARS-CoV-2 virus (including recovered and died) since the outbreak began. THE deaths today I’m 380 (yesterday it was +457), for a total of 107,636 victims from February 2020. People recovered or discharged they are altogether 2.832.939 e 18.287 those that came out of the Covid nightmare today (+19.764 yesterday). The positive current – the subjects who have the virus – turn out to be in everything 571.878, equal to +5.167 compared to yesterday (+3.753 the day before).
The swabs and the scenario
I total swabs (molecular and antigenic) were 357.154, or 2,172 more than yesterday when it was 354,982. While the rate of positivity 6,7% (the approximation of 6.67%): it means that out of 100 swabs performed more than 6 were positive; yesterday it was 6.8%. Here is the map of the contagion in Italy.
Less infections in 24 hours than yesterday, but a few less, with over 2,000 more tampons. And the positivity rate drops slightly to 6.7% from 6.8% on Friday, remaining almost stable. For example, last Saturday (March 20), +23,832 cases were registered with a positive rate of 6.7%. The scenario does not change. Weekly data shows a slowdown in the epidemic. The degrowth in progress. In the summer we could allow ourselves a few more freedoms, reiterated Silvio Brusaferro, president of the Istituto Superiore di Sanit. But beware: the curve has not yet collapsed (in the UK there are about 5-6 thousand new positives per day). Restrictions must continue to be respected while vaccinations proceed.
I vaccinate
The vaccine doses administered are over 9 million. More than 2.8 million citizens have received the second dose. Here the map updated every evening and here the real-time data of the anti Covid-19 vaccines report on the government website.
