According to figures provided by the Independent National Election Authority, the electoral body counted 24,351,551 registered voters, including 23,486,061 voters inside the country, distributed as follows: 47% women and 53% men, while the percentage of registered voters under 40 years of age was 36%..

As for those residing abroad, the voting process began last Monday with an electoral body for the national community abroad comprising 865,490 voters (45 percent women and 55 percent men), while the percentage of those under the age of 40 reached 15.43 percent..

The Independent National Election Authority supervises the electorate abroad through 117 committees distributed over 18 committees in France, 30 committees in the rest of the European countries, 22 in the Arab countries, 21 in the African countries, and 26 in each of Asia and America..

Last Wednesday, the voting process began through mobile offices for nomadic Bedouins and residents of remote areas in the southern Algerian states..

This process concerns 116,064 registered voters across 134 offices in 51 municipalities distributed across 16 states, according to the Algerian News Agency..

It is noteworthy that the September 7 presidential election campaign began on August 15 and concluded on September 3, after which a three-day electoral silence period began during which candidates were prohibited from engaging in any electoral activity..
