Kochi: 24 other state residents have been arrested in connection with the attack on Kitex workers by the police and locals. Kitex MD Sabu Jacob said the company was not responsible for the workers’ violence.
Sabu Jacob said that the police should stop the violence and that such violence should not be repeated anywhere in Kerala.
Sabu had earlier said that he would check the attackers with a camera and hand them over to the police. In the incident, 18 people were arrested in connection with the attempted murder case against the CI and six in connection with the crash of the police vehicle. Earlier, 150 people were taken into police custody in connection with the incident.
