A 24-year-old young man died of choking while having a glass of water this morning, at a farm in the rural area of the city of Andradas (MG). The information is from the Military Police of Minas Gerais.
What happened
Aline Lara de Oliveira Souza would have spent the night drinking with friends at a place. When drinking water in the morning, she would have choked, according to witnesses reported to the PM.
A witness said he called 911 and followed the attendant’s directions to try to save the young woman. She stated that she removed the dental prosthesis that Aline was wearing while waiting for help at the scene. The woman continued to faint.
The rescue guidelines would have been given by the Military Police of Piracicaba, city in the interior of São Paulo, since the connection dropped to the city of São Paulo due to the site being close to the state border. The military of Andradas were also notified of the occurrence.
Aline was resuscitated when an ambulance arrived at the site, but she couldn’t resist and died at the scene.
Another witness stated that he attended the place to drink and use drugs and also revealed that the group of friends used cocaine. The person also informed the corporation that one of those present provided the drug. The police did a sweep of the house and the witnesses, but nothing illicit was found.
The occurrence was registered by the 5th Police Station of Andradas. The report tries to contact the Civil Police to find out if the case is being investigated.
Aline leaves three children, being two boys and a girl.
