Gujarat: 25 crore fake notes seized from an ambulance in Surat, Gujarat Police The notes were recovered from the Kamarej police station in Surat. Instead of ‘Reserve Bank of India’, ‘Reverse Bank of India’ is printed on the notes. SP Hitesh told the media that fake notes of Rs 25 crore printed with Rs 2000 were seized when the ambulance which was traveling on the Ahmedabad-Mumbai road was checked following a tip-off.

The notes were stored in 1290 packets in six cartels. ANI reported that the Kamarej police said they seized fake notes worth Rs 25.80 crore. There are indications that the money was used for the shooting of the movie and someone gave it as confidential information to mislead the police. Just below the reverse Bank of India is printed Movie Shooting Purpose Only. However, investigation is also underway whether it was used for movie shooting and then taken to distribute in the public market.

Meanwhile, so many fake notes are being seized from Gujarat under the fake name of Rivers Bank of India. Hopefully there is a big team behind it. The police also informed that the ambulance driver is being interrogated.
