Kuwait City: The Ministry of Interior continues to carry out inspections aimed at finding illegal expatriates in Kuwait. The Ministry of Interior of Kuwait announced that 25 people found involved in prostitution were arrested the other day.

Expatriates from different countries were arrested for doing unethical activities. A statement released by the Ministry of Home Affairs through social media said that all those arrested have been handed over to the concerned departments for taking further legal action.

A few days ago, the police arrested seven expatriate women for engaging in prostitution in Kuwait. They were also caught in the nationwide inspections conducted by the Ministry of Home Affairs to find violations of labor and residence laws. In a statement issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs, it was announced that among those arrested, there are nationals of various nationalities and they have been handed over to the relevant departments for further action. Hundreds of violators were arrested by the security departments during the checks conducted in the last few days.

Inspection to detect law violations in Kuwait; Four restaurants were closed
Kuwait City: Authorities of the Public Authority for Food and Nutrition conducted an inspection last day to find restaurants violating the law in Kuwait. Officials visited Ahmadi and Hawalli governorates last day. The objective of the inspection was to ensure that the rules and regulations applicable to restaurants are strictly followed.

The authorities have closed down four establishments found in violation of the law. Notices have been issued to seven other institutions for various reasons. The Public Authority for Food and Nutrition announced through its official Twitter account that it has closed down a food store that was operating without licenses in Ahmadi Governorate. Various health and safety norms were also found to be violated here.
