Man found with suspected gunshot wounds in Vårby, Huddinge
A 25-year-old man has been discovered with suspected gunshot wounds outdoors in Vårby in Huddinge south of Stockholm. According to police spokesperson Nadya Norton, the man has been taken to the hospital by ambulance, but the extent of his injuries is currently unknown. However, he was reportedly “awake and talking” in the ambulance.
The incident is being treated as attempted murder, and the police have cordoned off the area. They are working on trace protection, talking to witnesses, and searching for a possible perpetrator. The police were alerted to explosions in the area shortly after 7pm on Tuesday.
When asked if anyone has been arrested in connection with the incident, Nadya Norton stated that she had no information about that. The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward.
