More infections in 24 hours than yesterday, with 11 thousand more tampons. The case / test ratio has been stuck at 7% for 48 hours. The curve of new infections rises, reaching the maximum point of the week – it has been happening every Friday, for some time, due to its fluctuating trend -, and then falls on the weekend and on Monday. We recall that last Friday +26,824 cases were registered with a positivity rate of 7.2% and the situation today appears little different (see the percentages). The scenario seems to be settling, but on very high numbers. The incidence calculated in the period 12-18 March is growing: now 264 cases per 100 thousand inhabitants (it was 225.64 per 100 thousand the previous week), as indicated by the latest monitoring by the Istituto Superiore di Sanit which suggests maintain strict national mitigation measures, while the national transmission Rt index stable at 1.16 for the second consecutive week.
