26 children with coronavirus are in the infectious diseases hospital of the Pskov region. This was stated by the chairman of the health committee of the Pskov region, Marina Garashchenko, at a regular meeting of the operational headquarters for the fight against coronavirus, which takes place on February 25, the correspondent of MK in Pskov reports.
To date, 6,518 patients in the Pskov region are being treated for coronavirus infection, of which 6,012 are at the outpatient stage. To date, this is the largest number of patients in terms of total volume, added the head of the relevant committee. She noted that 506 people are hospitalized. Of all the sick, 1160 are children, of all those hospitalized in the infectious diseases hospital, there are 26 children.
The total number of beds has been increased, as there is a sufficient number of hospitalizations, patients are admitted seriously, she stressed.
“Only with coronavirus infection, in addition to community-acquired pneumonia, there are 47 patients in intensive care units,” Marina Garashchenko said and recalled that 805 beds are now working.
