The Special Forces for Environmental Security arrested (27) violators of the environmental law, (21) citizens, and (6) residents of Sudanese nationality, who committed violations of grazing (629) camels and (426) heads of sheep in places where grazing is prohibited in King Abdulaziz Royal Reserve, Imam Abdulaziz bin Muhammad Royal Reserve, Imam Turki bin Abdullah Royal Reserve, and King Salman Royal Reserve.

The official spokesman for the Special Forces for Environmental Security, Colonel Abdul Rahman Al-Otaibi, stated that the regular procedures were applied against the violators, stressing that the penalty for violating grazing is (500) for each body of camels, and the penalty for grazing sheep is a fine of (200) for each head.

He urged the official spokesman to report any violation that constitutes an assault on the environment or wildlife at the number (911) in the regions of Makkah Al-Mukarramah, Riyadh and the Eastern Province, and (999) and (996) in the rest of the Kingdom’s regions.
