CHENNAI,- The initial phase of selection of 2,748 village assistants has started all over Tamil Nadu. Through the village assistants in the municipalities, various schemes of the government reach the eligible beneficiaries.
However, 2,748 village assistant posts are vacant across the state. At present, the process to fill these posts has started. In this regard, Revenue Administration Commissioner Prabhakar has written a letter to the District Collectors: Notification regarding the filling of village assistant posts should be published at the taluk level on the 10th.
Applications should be received by November 7. Applications will be reviewed on the 14th; The written test should also be conducted on 30th. The interview should be conducted on December 15 and 16. The list of selected village assistants should be published on the 19th, the letter said.
