On the night of October 7, a fire occurred at an oil depot in Feodosia, Crimea, which, according to preliminary information, was caused by a drone attack. According to Russian Telegram channels, local residents heard several explosions around 4:30 am, after which a fire started at the oil depot.

The so-called “authorities” of Crimea confirmed the incident, but called it a “fire.” Advisor to the head of Crimea Oleg Kryuchov said that fire crews were working on the spot and that there were no casualties or injuries. Deputy Prime Minister of Crimea Igor Mikhailichenko went to the scene of the incident. In turn, the “head of the administration of Feodosia” Igor Tkachenko reported that traffic was blocked in the area of the incident.

According to updated information from the ASTRA Telegram channel, a fire occurred at the oil depot of Marine Oil Terminal JSC, which had already been subject to drone attacks earlier, in March 2024.
