Dhaka: 28 people died in the cyclone that hit Bangladesh. The death toll rose after the bodies of four more people from the missing dredger boat were found. The storm was blowing at a speed of 80 kilometers per hour.

About 10,000 houses with tin roofs have been damaged or destroyed in the incident. Five million people were without power on Wednesday. A million people who were displaced from low-lying areas have returned to their homes.
