Moushumi was chosen as the heroine. But the hero could not be found. Then this filmmaker found a son named Iman through the ex-wife of actor Alamgir Khoshnur. The director liked Eamon at first sight. Then Sohanur Rahman Sohan made a film called ‘Qayamat to Qayamat’ with Salman Shah. He changed his name to Eman and made his debut in the film industry as Salman Shah.

Salman Shah was born on September 19, 1971 in Zakiganj upazila of Sylhet. His real name is Shahriar Chowdhury Emon. His father’s name is Kamar Uddin Chowdhury and mother Neela Chowdhury. Salman got married to Samira in 1992.
