The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) called on residents of 22 more villages in southern Lebanon to evacuate to areas north of the Awali River, according to a statement.

This was reported by The Times Of Israel news agency.

The statement said residents of southern Lebanon were urged “not to return” to their homes as the military continued operations against Hezbollah in the region.

An IDF spokesman in Arabic stressed that our forces are “targeting Hezbollah positions in or near your villages. For your safety, do not return to your homes until further notice. Do not travel to the south; anyone who goes to the south is risking their lives “.

In a separate message, Adraie reiterated an earlier call for medical workers and medical teams in southern Lebanon to avoid using ambulances as they are used by Hezbollah fighters.

“We call on the medical teams to avoid contact with Hezbollah members and not to cooperate with them. The IDF confirms that the necessary measures will be taken against any vehicle carrying armed personnel, regardless of its type,” the IDF spokesman concluded.

Previously, Cursor wrote that the escalation of the conflict between Israel and Hezbollah terrorists is causing serious consequences for the Lebanese population, especially at night, when the Israel Defense Forces regularly warn residents of the need for urgent evacuation before an airstrike.

Late last month, as Israel intensified its air campaign, Lebanese residents began receiving increasing reports of bombing attacks.
