The Minister of the Interior, Mr. Hamadou Adamou Souley, arrived this afternoon at the head of a large delegation in Tchintabaraden (in the Tahoua region) where he will proceed, tomorrow April 24, to the launch of the festivities commemorating the 28th anniversary of National Concord Day. Celebrated every year on the historic date of April 24, which recalls the day when the Government of Niger and the leaders of ex-combatants, grouped within the organization of the armed rebellion (ORA) and the Coordination of the Armed Resistance (CRA ), sat down to agree for a united and prosperous nation. The ministerial delegation was welcomed when it got off the plane, at Tahoua airport, by the regional authorities in the forefront of which Governor Issa Moussa, before reaching the destination. Tomorrow will thus be celebrated the National Concord, in particular in the presence of the minister in charge of humanitarian action and community development and of the president of the high authority for the consolation of peace, under the sign of perpetuation of the achievements of a lasting peace.
